Where Final Round AI is stronger
- Coding and system-design practice. It has dedicated scenarios for them; Readyo does not.
- Language coverage. A far longer language list than Readyo’s four.
- A free plan for preparing goals, parsing a job description and building a checklist.
- Desktop tools that work alongside a video call.
Where Readyo is stronger
- On your phone. You can rehearse anywhere, out loud, in a few minutes.
- Scored, explained feedback. Five named dimensions with weights, and an improved answer that reuses only your own facts.
- Pay per interview. A single interview is $2.99, so you do not need a subscription to try it.
- Practice only. Some employers and interviewers have rules about assistance during an interview. With Readyo there is nothing to disclose, because it is not used in the interview.
Which should you pick?
If you are preparing for a coding or system-design interview, or you want a tool on your laptop, Final Round AI covers that and Readyo does not. If you want to get fluent and calm answering common interview questions out loud, in English, French, Spanish or Arabic, Readyo is built for that. They are not exclusive: practice with one and decide separately whether you want live assistance, bearing in mind the rules of the company you are interviewing with.
Not covered here: we did not test Final Round AI’s practice sessions ourselves, and its pages do not say whether practice is voice, text or video.
Where Readyo fits
Readyo is an iPhone app for spoken mock interviews. You paste a job ad or type a role, choose the stage, and an AI interviewer asks the questions out loud and follows up on your answers. You answer by voice and get a report that scores relevance (20 %), structure (20 %), evidence and precision (30 %), clarity and expression (15 %), and composure and ownership (15 %), with an improved version of each answer built only from what you said. The interview and the app work in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. Readyo is for practice only: it never helps during a real interview. It is free to download, and interviews are paid: a single interview, a 7-day pass, a monthly plan or Lifetime (prices checked 11 October 2026).
Frequently asked questions
Is Readyo an alternative to Final Round AI?
For practice, yes. For live assistance during a real interview, no: Readyo never helps during an interview and is built only for rehearsal.
Does Final Round AI have an iPhone app?
Its home and pricing pages, read on 5 October 2026, list a desktop app for macOS and Windows and name no iOS or Android app. Check its site for any change.
Is Readyo free?
It is free to download, and interviews are paid in the app: a single interview ($2.99), a 7-day pass ($7.99, up to 10 interviews, does not renew), a monthly plan ($19.99, up to 30 interviews a month, renews until cancelled) or Lifetime ($79.99 once, fair use of 30 interviews a month). These are US prices; the app shows your local price. A new account may be able to answer the first questions of one interview before choosing a plan; continuing that interview and its full report then require a purchase.
